Unfortunately, the transformer fire in Back Bay last night left the area without power. So we have to cancel tonight’s event.

Progressives are only one faction of Occupy Boston. I am pro free markets and capitalism. I am disgusted by most of what progressives stand for. My wife’s family escaped Cuba when she was 4. If you need to drink why don’t you hang out with the homeless in Copley Square instead of going to a bar? I can think of some places we should go. A lot of you need to humble down and try to actually think about things. Bars and Churches are the only businesses allowed to practice racism and social discrimination. Why do you even go in there when its not cold anymore?
Um, one, I’m not sure what relevance your statement has to do with this.
Two, I’m pro-Capitalism to. I’m anti-Corporatism, however. There’s a big difference. Corporatism abuses the system and takes over the government with money.
People seem to think that Socialism and Capitalism are incompatible. They’re not. We’ve been mixing them for a few centuries now. To think otherwise means a fundamental misunderstanding of either Socialism or Capitalism. Now, if we’re talking Marxism verses Capitalism, that’s another story. If we’re talking Libertarianism verses Socialism, that’s another, similar story.
