Ideas are great, but they need to be translated into actions. I think the slogan that OWS came up with is clever, but it didn’t keep them from being evicted. The most impact will come from a combination of encampment + public support. And OB will only get that public support if it goes beyond the declaration (which was a great first step) – and now translated strategy aka the declaration, and ideas – into actions. Supporters are asking for this – see here the blog that got the most posts recently:

As Melissa said on that blog – you will have our support once you prove that you represent us, the 99% through your actions. Use the focus laid out through the declaration and follow through with some actions; we will then show our support in return.
@Anonymous: Have you been paying attention? The Occupy movement has done more, with *actions*, than any movement in the past 30 years. “It didn’t keep you from getting evicted”: the point is Occupy is and will continue to be about more than the Dewey encampment. Instead of waiting for us to “prove” something to you, join us! We are the 99%,and so are you! Let’s change the system together!
2 months and still going. Long live the occupation! Here’s a youtube video captured the day Noam spoke – a moving experience. Hope it captures the spirit of Occupy Boston. Please forward if you Like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-uNn1KddMM&sns=em
Can we move beyond IDEAS? IF this is true, can OB do something like this – get a collection going of all postage paid envelopes (credit card offers) from the public and send the empty envelopes back – is it true that this is the only time that the credit card/ banks pay for these? It may get their attention –

.
(if what the guy says in the video is true, this would be a creative way to channel energies, other than marches – and of course online actions and phone calls to representatives). Occupy all channels of communication with media, politicians, and the large greedy corporations! ACTION, ACTION, ACTION – please…
both video’s of eric and rene and lovely, and deeply moving. hope you’re planning to do more. would love to talk with you. peace
