Harvard University custodial workers from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 615 will be rallying outside the Harvard Management Company’s office—located on the top floor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, directly across the street from Occupy Boston in Dewey Square—tomorrow, November 15, at 4:30 pm. The custodians are currently in difficult negotiations with the University over parody, wages, educational benefits, and healthcare, and their union contract ends at midnight tomorrow.

Is the date correct? Today, Monday, is the 14th. Do they mean the 15th, the day their contract expires?
Sorry to be a spelling cop, but I think you mean “parity” not “parody.” I wouldn’t want people to use a typo to slam your worthy efforts to support living wages for working people.

starting to wonder if it’s a play on words- did happen in another post.
Oh, actually- I was the first response to this very post-
I simply wrote ‘parity’.
But that comment was censored. Please note, they didn’t then fix the ‘problem’-
oops – there it is below! NO CENSORSHIP!!
🙂
Hey guys! I love this! It’s Parity, not “parody.” Also, there is a media advisory from SEIU Local 615 coming your way. Not only will there be a rally at the Federal Reserve building, but also another in Cambridge at 4 at 64 Brattle Street. Thank you for the solidarity!
Parity
Parity–not parody. SEIU workers are looking for EQUITY, not exaggerated imitation!
And feel free to delete this if/when the spelling is corrected.
