Elaine Bernard, executive director of the Labor and Worklife Program at Harvard Law School, will be speaking tomorrow, November 9, at 6 pm as part of the Howard Zinn Memorial Lecture Series. Professor Bernard is a prominent labor intellectual and activist and will be speaking about the attack on public sector workers. Her talk is entitled “From Heroes to Zeros: The War on Public Employees and Their Unions”.

Harvard Professor speaking,….. this is absurd, Harvard if listed as a corporation would be one of the top 25 in New England. They are an “exclusive” elitist organization. Their (hedge fund) endowment fund has privileges that the the 99% will never have they are the quintessential greed mongers. The educational dominance of our markets have created this twisted corrupt system, with their lack of teaching decent morals and monopolies over government grants for tech, energy, bio, etc.
Often our government says that small business is the back bone of our country, yet they foster these “institutions” with the peoples money; meaning they are not “small business” they are the antithesis of small. Occupy needs “real” speakers not those that are ever so comfortable in life with their tenure, that are fake.
She also defends the groups that have had the least amount of pain, the public workers. We are three steps removed from Greece.
